Hope & Happiness

“The hopes of the godly result in happiness, but the expectations of the wicked come to nothing.” Proverbs 10:28

Sunshine and sunflowers - what could be happier?

Okay, many things - depending on your preferences.

During these days of lingering health, economic and political uncertainty, we need happiness! Let the wicked wallow in their misery. God is in control, and He tells us 'the expectations of the wicked come to nothing.'

God's news is good news. Especially if you keep an eye on the media news.

Be comforted! The hopes of the godly result in happiness.

What are your hopes for happiness?

I hope for a happy, loving family, sunny days and walks on the beach, delicious meals and a comfortable home, good health and enough resources to feel stable and secure.

Most days, these hopes are met. Because my greatest hope is always met - my Lord and Savior meets all my needs. Not all my wants -- but all my needs.

Faith, family, and food - health and home - security, stability, and a sunny day on the beach.

God's blessings help me weather life's struggles and daily disappointments.

Even when all my hopes aren't met, God is good.

When we remember all God has done for us, and all He is doing for us each day, life looks a lot brighter.

Put hope in God's promises for the future, and disappointments diminish.

Counting our blessings helps us experience the joy of the Lord.

“Always be joyful.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16
