Last Days of Summer

Sorry I missed y'all over the weekend. Despite being in the thick of financials and contracts and packing for our big move, we had a pre-paid vacation planned for over a year.

After brief deliberation, (should we cancel or just go?) we decided a vacation was exactly what we needed.

We spent all of last week at Cherry Grove Beach, South Carolina. It was wonderful!

Our two-year-old grandson Jax was so excited to "Find Beach!"

He's also currently over the moon for the dinosaurs. (Last year was Baby Shark and all sharks. What will it be next year?)

We ate a DinoLand Cafe and as luck would have it, a dinosaur exhibit opened in nearby Myrtle Beach on the last day of vacation!

Jax was up to his ears and beyond in dinosaurs and he LOVED it!

We also visited Alligator Adventure -- another favorite as gators look so much like dinosaurs.

Plus lots of beach and pool time, eating by the water, and family togetherness.

Fun times and we already booked for next summer!

As we continue the packing, moving, unpacking and renovating process, I may be a little sporadic on getting news and blogs out. Please bear with me and know that I'll catch up with you as soon as I can!

And yes, another book is coming.... it might just be a little while.

As a family, we planned out a children's book on dinosaurs! I look forward to working on that project too. After the move!
